JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Track Welder, you will be part of a team working with track welding in operations and maintenance contracts as well as new construction. Common tasks include joint welding and overlay welding, cutting and grinding, as well as pin soldering and gas soldering. In this role, you will handle and correct deviations that arise within your area of responsibility early on.

Working hours vary, and since travel, on-call duty from home, as well as weekend and night work occur, it is important that you live in the local area.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has:

• Approved high school education
• Approved basic training in track welding (thermit and overlay welding).
• Experience in track welding within railways
• Driving license B (manual)
• Meets medical requirements to be approved for safety service

Meritorious:

• Further education in track welding
• Driving license C
